Frequently asked questions
How many candidates will be elected to the Board of Directors?
Seven (7) names have been placed on the 2025 slate. Under the organization’s bylaws, the Board of Directors may consist of no more than 15 voting members-at-large. Upon approval, the 2025 candidates will join with returning board members whose terms expire in 2025. Ex officio (non-voting) members such as Past Chairman(s) and Chief Executive Officer are not included in the members-at-large maximum.
Who are the nominees for these vacancies?
The Nominating Committee has proposed a slate of candidates, all of whom are Cloud, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, Database & Technology or Commerce Oracle applications users and Quest members in good standing. Please review the candidate information prior to casting your vote.
What are the voting rules and requirements?
Professional and corporate members of Quest are eligible to cast a ballot. Each professional membership is entitled to one vote. Corporate memberships are entitled to (10) votes. Balloting is for or against the entire slate, not for or against individual nominees, and takes place for a minimum period of 60 days. Write-in candidates are permitted. At least 1/15th of the voting membership must cast an “approve” ballot for the slate to be approved.
How can I be sure I am eligible to vote?
Proxies are available online to the designated primary contact for each individual and corporate member company in North America, based on member information in the Quest database, as of July 1, 2025. If you are not the designated primary contact for one of these member categories, please forward this information to the correct individual within your organization.
How can I cast my vote?
To cast your vote, you may request that the proxy designate (Quest’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer) cast your ballot for you. Please complete the proxy ballot online. The proxy designate intends to vote for the slate of candidates presented in these materials. The right to vote does not entitle you or your company access into or registration for the conference and/or related events. If for some reason you are unable to utilize the electronic voting method, please contact us at [email protected] and we will be happy to assist you with casting your ballot via alternate means.
