Oracle is Committed
Oracle maintains that there have been no plans to end support for PeopleSoft; the Oracle Lifetime Support policy was recently altered to clearly state that there is a long-term commitment to PeopleSoft. Oracle plans to continue innovating and investing in PeopleSoft to ensure success for its users.
Oracle reiterated its support for PeopleSoft at RECONNECT 18 in a session featuring Paco Aubrejuan, Oracle Senior Vice President and Marc Weintraub, Vice President of Product Strategy for Oracle. They talked about the continuous support for PeopleSoft and the extension of the 15-year commitment that was made back in 2012.

Oracle Lifetime Support
The updated Oracle Lifetime Support policy now states that Oracle intends to provide Premier Support for its PeopleSoft Continuous Innovation Releases “through at least” December 2030. Oracle plans to regularly review its support policies and adjust them over time to better serve customers.
Starting in 2019, Premier Support will be reviewed annually and the “through at least” date will be extended by at least one year. This creates a rolling window of 10+ years of Premier Support for the PeopleSoft Continuous Innovation Releases until further notice from Oracle.
