On this episode of PeopleSoft Talk, Paco and Marc discuss what customers wanted five years ago, the upgrades and improvements PeopleSoft has made to satisfy the customers’ wants, and the future of PeopleSoft.
To start, Paco discusses some of the frustrations customers were having five years ago. He tells Marc that customers were really looking for a more modern, mobile application that was simple to use, more responsive in terms of new capabilities, and had the ability to take advantage of some of the enhancements happening in Cloud technologies.
Paco explains that PeopleSoft has listened to the customers and has provided a more modern, mobile application that works on phones and tablets. PeopleSoft is working to simplify a lot the business processes as it rolls out the modern application with Fluid user interface. The way applications work with Selective Adoption has been simplified. There are no longer any upgrades because once customers are on the nine, they have continuous innovation releases.
