More than 70% of organizations have experienced fraud in the last 2 years. Whether you are a public or private organization, stopping fraud & satisfying audits is easy to say, but not so easy to deliver. There are key controls that need to be in place to protect your system. We will spend a few minutes touching the basic financial foundation items but spend most of the time on what to pay attention to that is unique to an ERP environment. These same controls also ensure compliance with SOX, JSOX, GDPR, other regulatory requirements or even your internal governance policies.
This session will cover those touch points that a finance individual needs to be aware of to stop fraud which lie outside of the standard finance modules they work with every day. We will assure you know what to pay attention to in understanding where your vulnerabilities may be and that you have an appropriate control framework no matter what area of finance is your specialty.
