INFOCUS 2024: Real life demo - Easily identify and renew expired JDE data with a VBCS app

Presented at INFOCUS 2024
Session ID: P-049359

Identifying expired or critical data can be easily done with a Visual Builder app. With the same app the expired data can be ended and new data can be added with a single action. This can also be done on mobile devices.

A demo will be given of a Fire Safety Certification app. In JD Edwards all Fire Safety certificates for Fire Equipment and buildings are stored with a begin, end and critical date. The app retrieves all records for which the critical date has passed or the end date lies within the next three months. If a new certificate is available it can be entered through the app by clicking the expired record and adding the new certificate information. The app will add a new record with the new information in JD Edwards.

This session is eligible for IIBA and NASBA credits.
