INFOCUS 22: Digital Transformation: Certified Origin's Ally in an Era of Uncertainty

Presented at INFOCUS 22
Session ID: 102680

Certified Origins uses JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.2 on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to support their digital transformation process. Leveraging EnterpriseOne’s digital platform including Orchestrator, they became one of the first in their industry to implement Blockchain technology, using Oracle’s Blockchain platform, to monitor and track their Bellucci premium extra virgin olive oil from the Italian bottling facility to the port of arrival. With REST services called by Orchestrator, Certified Origins records in Blockchain, in real time, purchase orders, goods received, sales orders, shipments, and customer invoices. By doing this they have unified intercompany logistics standards, improved order processing from different branches and streamlined warehouse management. For financials, the system provides rapid and flexible data queries.
