In order to ensure high employee retention, many organizations have recognized that the first few days and months of a new hire’s tenure with the organization is critical. To that end, an effective onboarding process is a key element in achieving this goal.
As part of the Core HR system, PeopleSoft delivers a configurable onboarding process that enables organizations to provide a welcoming, user-friendly experience where the employee can gain important information and become productive more quickly. For managers and HR professionals, the system is easily manageable and provides insight into the employee’s activities.
Conversely, the same ease of use is provided when an employee terminates their employment through the offboarding process. Both onboarding and offboarding are delivered through Activity Guides, which is a highly configurable tool that enables organizations to design the process to meet their needs. This session will provide an overview of these topics.
