This session explores how Oracle DBAs can transition to a multicloud environment by extending core DBA tasks—such as server setup, database creation and configuration, user management, access control, backups, and performance tuning—to cloud platforms. We’ll cover the essential skills DBAs need to succeed in cloud environments, focusing on how these tasks adapt and expand in multicloud settings.
With this foundation, we’ll delve into Oracle-Azure Multicloud, as well as AWS and Google Cloud offerings, examining how these platforms support seamless database operations across providers. Practical use cases for Oracle-Azure multicloud integration will be discussed, highlighting the flexibility and performance advantages of a multicloud strategy. To conclude, attendees will gain a roadmap for building multicloud expertise, learning how to leverage Oracle, Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud for scalable, cross-platform database management.
